Some individuals with tattoos have either
grown tired of or even hate their tattoos and want them removed. At DAA their physicians utilize their own Q-Switched Ruby
and Neodynium YAG lasers, with three wavelengths, to break up tattoo pigments into smaller particles which are removed by
the body. Treatment is gentle like a rubber band snap with most patients not requiring anesthesia. Although multiple treatments
are necessary, the risk of scarring is much lower than with older methods. Professional multi-colored tattoos are the most
difficult to treat and require more than one type of laser. Homemade blue black tattoos respond the best.
